Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before making any reservations on this website. Hostel Marisol guarantees that the room rates available on this website are the lowest available, except for special promotions. By making a reservation through this website, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions.

1. Arrivals and Departures

New arrivals can check into their rooms after 12:00 p.m. noon until 8:00 p.m. at night every day. Guests can arrive earlier and leave their luggage at the hostel, but access to the rooms will not be granted until after 12:00 p.m. noon to 8:00 p.m. at night and pay for their stay before or after entering the rooms.

Check out is at 11:00 am and you must remove all your belongings from your room and check out, guests must return all keys to reception after this time, guests can make use of the storage facilities luggage, but all belongings must be removed from the room by 11:00 a.m.

People who come to Hostel Marisol for the day will be charged an entrance fee. The stay is possible from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., to stay outside these hours you will need special permission from management.

2. Conditions for Stays with Children

  • Children of any age can be accommodated.
  • Children over 18 years old will be considered adults in this accommodation.
  • To see the correct information on prices and occupancy, add the number of children you are traveling with and their ages to the search.

3. Conditions on cots and extra beds:

  • It is not possible to add cots in this accommodation.
  • No extra beds can be added in this accommodation.
  • No age restriction.
  • There is no minimum age for check-in.

4. Guest Behavior

The comfort, safety and protection of our guests is of utmost importance to Hostel Marisol. Any guest who, in the opinion of our staff, compromises the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local residents will be asked to leave the hostel premises and will not be offered a refund. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, local residents and property. In the case of groups, group leaders must ensure that all members of their group behave in an acceptable manner. If a member of the group does not do so, it will result in the expulsion of the entire group.

5. Smoking

Smoking is not allowed inside the facilities of Hostel Marisol, except in some designated areas. Any guest found smoking inside the building will be asked to stop smoking immediately; if repeated, you will be asked to leave the premises immediately and a refund will not be offered. Smoking areas are specified with a sign and must be respected.

6. Personal Property

Guests are asked to use the secure lockers in the bedrooms and to lock their bedroom door at any time. Valuables can be stored in a safe at reception when requested. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that their personal belongings are secure at all times. Hostel Marisol accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to property.

7. Property of Hostel Marisol

Guests are expected to reimburse Hostel Marisol for damages caused by inappropriate behavior during their stay at Hostel Marisol.

8. Keys

Upon check-in, guests will receive a key to access their room or dorm locker. These keys must be returned to reception on departure. Failure to return will result in a $50 fee which can be charged to customer’s credit card or cash.

9. Liability

Hostel Marisol’s liability remains, at all times, limited to the value of the reserved services, excluding any modification charges paid to us.

9.1 Each person who enters the water and uses the water toys at their own risk, Hostel Marisol will not be responsible for any accident or injury suffered.

It is the responsibility of the guests to ensure that they are medically fit to swim or use the water toys (kayaks, paddleboards, floating donuts, floating platform, etc.) they are fragile and can break. Life jackets are provided and their use is mandatory. Swimmers and users of water toys are responsible for their safety, actions and behavior anywhere on the site.

9.2 The photographic illustrations displayed on the website are not legally binding. Although every effort is made to ensure that the photographs, graphic illustrations and text describing the hotels on the website provide an accurate description of the accommodation offered, variations are likely to occur, particularly due to renovation of the hotels. furniture and other types of renovations. Customers cannot file any claims due to such changes.

9.3 The property is not responsible for the non-compliance or inadequate execution of the reservation in case of force majeure, actions of third parties, actions of the client or its partners, such as the unavailability of the Internet, inability to access the website, external intrusion, computer viruses or in case of prepayment not authorized by the cardholder’s bank.

9.4 The property will be held harmless for any consequential damages resulting from these Terms and Conditions, i.e. loss of business, whether due to a third party, the Client or its partners.

9.5 Hypertext links citing the name of the property may lead to sites other than the property’s website, therefore you accept no responsibility for the content of such other sites or the services offered.

9.6 Any reservation or payment that may be incorrect, ineffective, incomplete or fraudulent due to the actions or behavior of the Client will result in the cancellation of the reservation for the Client’s account, without prejudice to civil or criminal proceedings that may be brought against the client.

9.7 The establishment reserves the right to close its website or the online reservation area, temporarily or permanently, without prior notice.

9.8 The property will be held harmless for any damage due to such changes and/or the temporary or permanent closure of all or part of the website or the services on it, such as the online booking area.

10. Personal Information

Hostel Marisol will only store and use the information you provide us or that you provide to us for the purpose of carrying out our contact with you.

11. Errors and Omissions

Any omission or error in the sales literature, web pages or site, order form, estimate, price list or other document issued by us may be corrected by us without liability. We will inform you of any changes at the time of booking or as soon as reasonably possible thereafter.

12. Availability

All reservations are subject to availability and Hostel Marisol reserves the right to reject any reservation in less than 24 hours.

13. Late Cancellation Charges

We have an 8-day cancellation policy, which means we must be notified no later than 8 days the day before arrival of any cancellation or change to a reservation. On the day of check-in no refunds will be made and the first night of your reservation will be fully charged.

50% refund if you cancel less than 8 days in advance. There is no refund. The last week before the trip will not be returned. Refundable valid cancellation within 24 hours after making the reservation.

The conditions of cancellation and payment in advance may vary according to the type of accommodation.

14. Late Check-out

In the case of a late check-out, Hostel Marisol reserves the right to charge for the additional nights of stay at the corresponding rate of the bed(s). Administrative discretion will apply.

15. Non-Refundable Reservations

Non-refundable reservations cannot be canceled or modified without incurring a charge equal to the total value of the reservation. Payment of the full value of non-refundable reservations is required at the time of booking, if a valid payment card is not provided or if we are unable to obtain payment from the card at the time of booking, the reservation will be cancelled.

16. Maximum Stay

The Marisol Hostel does not apply a maximum stay policy. However, guests can stay more than 14 days in total only under the agreement of the management team. Guest staying more than 7 days will be asked to pay their bill at least every 7 days. Availability is guaranteed only upon reservation.

17. General

Pets are not allowed and make silence in all areas of the hostel after 9:00 p.m. at night.

18. To consider

According to the Government’s instructions to minimize the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), this accommodation will not accept clients from some countries while these instructions remain in force.

According to the indications of the Government to minimize the contagion of the coronavirus (COVID-19), this accommodation may request additional documentation from clients to verify their identity, travel itinerary and other relevant data while said indications remain in force.

In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), the property is implementing additional health and safety measures at this time.

Food and beverage services at this property may be limited or unavailable due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Please inform Hostel Marisol in advance of your expected arrival time. To do this, you can use the special requests section when making the reservation or contact the accommodation directly. Contact details appear on the booking confirmation.

Payment is required before arrival via bank transfer. The property will contact you after booking with instructions.

Guests must show a valid ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all special requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
